Dear Mr. Raj Thackeray,
Where are you sir? We have been trying to reach you for the past 2 days ever since Mumbai has been attacked. I think it is the mobile network or your cable connection that must not be working. We miss you sir? We know how you love Mumbai and its people especially the Marathi Manoos.You must be collecting your brave Sena to come and help us. Like all the brave Marathi people who laid down their lives fighting this terror. I am sure you must be mourning the loss of brave Marathi policemen like Hemant Karkare, Vijay Salaskar, Ashok Kamte and various others, who risked their lives, so that you and I can sleep peacefully in this city.
Also sir, let me tell you the 200 Commandos, that have been sent in the last 2 days to fight terrorists are not Maharastrians. They could not find a unit which had 80% reservation for Maharastrians. Actually, they are a mix of people from all over India i.e.north, south, east and west. Infact one of them has lost his life fighting the terrorists. And he was a south Indian, I think.
I think the admirable courage that you and your Sena showed in fighting the poor immigrants from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh will hopefully stand in good stead if and when you decide to fight these terrorists. Also I found many people from different communities coming together in JJ Hospital and GT Hospital to donate blood for the vitims of this attack. And funnily they never asked if the blood is for Marathi Manoos or for everyone. I did not see anyone from your Sena though. Maybe they are busy somewhere else with more important work.
Sir you please take care as we need brave leaders like you to lead Maharastra, as we enter this new age of terror

Very nice article. This is a time to show the real courage, and unfortunately Raj Thackeray and his Sena was nowhere in the scene. He and his Sena are only capable to beat innocent Bihari’s. It’s not Raj Thackeray’s who did it alone, but all the leaders do such things for votes. Mumbai fiasco is a result of intelligence and leadership failure: Intelligence because they could not smell the attack and leadership because if it’d have happened with America, any country responsible for it would have been eliminated. So, our leadership should think for the worse, because this is the only option. We have already wasted last 60 years in mere discussion, however, it’s time for final decision, let it decided by the bullet, we’re now fed up with this...

Raj Thackeray is the founder and president of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (Maharashtra Renaissance Party), which is a regional party in the state of Maharashtra in India. He is especially known for his constant tirade against North Indians residing in Maharashtra. He has led several “violent” movements to ensure Mumbai is freed from North Indians. He is about 5ft5 in height and wears glasses.
It has been three days since Mumbai has been under siege from terrorists. Mumbai has yet to hear anything from this self-proclaimed saviour of the city and the caretaker of the “Marathi Manoos”. yesterday, NDTV news reporter had a talk with MNS secratary or some representative ..
the issue was regarding the absence of raj thakrey from the whole scene when all the otheres were expressing their condolences.. regardless of how much has has harmed the north indians and divided the nation. the least he could do is arrange his mns activits to arrange bloood for the needy. Here is the reply from the MNS representative:
””It is not that Raj thackrey is not concerned about the crisis in mumbai. Raj could not come to the Taj Hotel area because of over crowding.. Atleast now people should realize the importance of not over crowding mumbai.””

I am sure you are a true Indian. It pains to see that you are still supporting the party whose leader nor his followers were anywhere to be seen during this crisis.
There is absolutely no doubt on the valiant efforts of the Maharastrians in this hour of crisis.But to equate the heroic death of these Maharastrians who laid down their lives trying to save Indians and Mumbaikars from certain death with a coward bully and his followers is a great disservice to the memory of these martyred souls.
Most Important you have forgotten the deaths of several Indians who were not necessary Maharastrians, like the staff of both Taj and Oberoi Hotels and 3 NSG commandos who rose above their linguistic backgrounds and saved many INDIANS

Dear True India,
I am glad to hear from you about UNITY AGAINST TERRORISM. I am neither a Marathi nor a Bihari but an Indian residing on the Maratha soil for the past 25 years.
The question i want to ask you is that where was your IQ when you were supporting terrorism initiated by your respectable leader? Or is it that it has come to you only after this carnage?
My Indian brother, this exactly the point every one is making that netas divide the nation and make fools of the common man for their individual interests of filling up their vote banks. They make many promises to their supporters like 80% reservation that carry the common man in their favour. They might also keep their promises. But in the process you are not only ruining the UNITY of the nation but also yourself.
It is upto the common man with some IQ(not necessary high) to understand this and follow his own principles and not blindly follow the foolishness of netas.
By dividing ourselves, we are proving to the world again and again that we can be so easily divided. We are making our own nation unsafe for out generations.

Bravo, the TRUE INDIAN, who has come out in the true colour. Is it a time to engage in such a parochial talks? Raj, your great Raj, out to fissure the social fabric for petty political gains, is still missing. Perhaps he is revising his’son of soil’ theory.
In fact, he is in connivance with Lalu Prasad Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav and Amar Singh who too like Raj want to whip up regional frenzy in their respective political domains. Who suit them better than Raj in his politically expedient endeavour though at the cost of the integrity of the country. We never questioned the integrity of Shivaji, B.G. Tilak, Veer Savarkar, Guru Golwalkar, Comrade S.A. Dange, Comrade B.T. Ranadeve, all Maharashtrians.

Really ! At this time of grief and sadness, all you can think of is dragging Raj Thackrey into this, bringing in unwanted and unworthy politics into such troubling and grave issue. I mean cmon, I certainly don’t agree with the views and activities of Raj Thackrey, but what you’re doing here is springing up a debate about people from which region lost more lives in the act, which is equally bad if not worse than what Thackrey does. Just goes to show that you yourself have a divisive mentality like him, things like ”he was a south indian” proves that you’re in no way better than him. Also it really hurts me to see so many people provoked by this, people starting to defend their regions and offend others, completely losing the focus from the core issue of terrorism.
Besides, what was Thackrey supposed to do in this situation? He’s a politician, not a commando to hunt down terrorists, there was no place for him in this. Besides what good have condolences and mournings ever done to anyone, I’m glad that he remained away from such publicity stunts, and respect him for that. And you talk about calling on his organization, I’m glad that he didn’t do that because it would have meant putting lives of more people in danger. His activists are just that, activists, not army people to fight terrorism, and it is good that the army’s and police job was left to them, and no good leader would put the lives of his people in danger, untrained as they are to handle this situation. Hell, the whole Mumbai was indoors for 3 days, only the people who can help were outside, rightly so because a commotion can do no good, besides I don’t hear of people dying due to lack of blood, suggesting that they donate blood when there was no need is preposterous in itself and serves nothing but controversy.
My dear fellow Indians, this is not the time to give in to regional indifferences, forget who belongs to which region, and please don’t allow such blatant bullshit in the name of articles to affect you. Its sad, believe me, to see so many of us provoked by this backward thinking low mentality guy for a blogger, just give them the finger and think of whats happening to India. Because if this guy’s mentality is shared by a lot of us Indians, then we are facing seriously grave problems in times to come, and those problems won’t necessarily crop up from outside the country.

I think you have got it wrong.. we are not here to show which region is better..this is a blog where everyone, irrespective of region & religion, is free to express their views..
This is in no way looking down upon or maharshtrians.
only concern is Raj Thakrey, who claims to be the saviour of maharshtra was no where to be seen lending a helping hand..

यह जानकार बेहद अफ़सोस हुआ की आप शहादत और लापरवाही की मौत मे अंतर नही समझते. ये तीन अधिकारी कैसे मारे गये यह बताने की ज़रूरत नही है. ये अधिकारी संघ लोक सेवा आयोग से चयनित हुए थे ना की महाराष्ट्र सेवा आयोग से. इसीलिए उनके कंधो पर सिर्फ़ महाराष्ट्र की ही नही संपूर्ण देश की ज़िम्मेदारी थी. जब कोई भी व्यक्ति किसी प्रशासनिक सेवा मे आता है तो वो देश के लिए काम करता है ना की क्षेत्र के लिए.
आज मुझे पता चला की हथियार बिहार की सड़को पर बिकता है तो बड़ा आश्चर्य हुआ , मैं सोचने पर मजबूर हो गया हू की ऐसा कैसे संभव है की हथियार बिहार मे बिके और अपराध जगत के सरताज मुंबई में हो.
राहुल राज मुंबई पोलीस की नज़र मे एक आतंकवादी था जिसे उन्होने मौत के घाट उतार कर फ़तह हासिल कर ली और उन्हे ऐसा करना भी चाहिए था क्यूंकी मुंबई पोलीस सिर्फ़ ऐसे ही आतंवादी से मुकाबला कर सकती है जो बिहार से हथियार खरीद कर लाया हो.
आप सच कहते है की भैया लोगो को दिमाग़ कम होता है इसीलिए तो वो फौज मे भरती होते है और हम मराठी लोगों के लिए दुश्मन की गोली के शिकार होते हैं.और वो हो गये हाल के आतंकी हमले मे. दिमाग़ नही होने किए वजह से हो तो वो उत्तर प्रदेश और बिहार का विकास नही कर पाते है और हम मराठी ने संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्र का विकास कर लिया है.
मैं अक्सर भूल जाता हू की लालू , मुलायम और अमर केंद्रीय स्तर के नेता है जबकि हमारे नेता क्षेत्रीय स्तर के और हमारे नेता का दायरा भी सीमित है और प्रतिद्वन्दिता बहुत ज़्यादा और ये भैया नेता हमारे नेता के क्षेत्र मे भी हिस्सा लेना चाहते है. एक मराठी होने के नाते मैं ऐसा नही होने दूँगा. कसम है मुझे मुंबा देवी की और मेरे मुंबई की पर अफ़सोस ज़रूरत के समय में बाहर के लोग ही आकर उसको बचा पाए.
हमारे राज साहेब काफ़ी मेहनत से क्षेत्रिय राजनीति मे अपनी जगह बना रहे है और उन्हे ऐसे आंतकी हमले मे आ कर अपना वक्त जाया करने की ज़रूरत नही है क्यूंकी वो ओछी राजनीति नही करते , वो मौके पर चौका मारने वालों मे से भी नही है. मैं उन्हे हर कदम पर सहयोग दूँगा. जिस से मेरे महाराष्ट्र का नव निर्माण हो सके.
आंब्युलेन्स और रक्त दान शिविर का आयोजन ही हम सिर्फ़ कर सकते है क्यूंकी आने वाले चुनाव मे यह सहायक सिद्ध हो सकता है और होगा भी. वो रक्त ज़रूरत मंद के पास पहुँचता है या नही इससे कोई फ़र्क नही पड़ता.
जब हमारे उपर हमला होता है तो हम राष्ट्र एकता और एकजुटता की बात करते है और जब हम किसी पर हमला करते है तो मराठी अस्मिता की बात करते है. निर्दोष और निरीह लोगो पर हमला करने के लिए हमारे पास फौज ही फौज है और हमने यह साबित भी कर दिया है.
अगर हम पर हमला हुआ तो हम जै हिंद कहेंगे और जब हम हमला करते है तो जै महाराष्ट्र कहते है.
और अंत मे एक ख़ास बात.....
हम अब तक अपनी गली मे शेर थे यह हमने साबित कर दिया था लेकिन इन हाल के आतंकी हमलों मे हमारी गति क्या हुई यह आप सब ने देख ही लिया .
